Thanks to all who took the time to fill out our short survey last month! One feature you mentioned wanting to see is recommended wine products. Well Tyler has been playing with the Vivino app and recommends all wine fans/smartphone users to do the same! Review wines, follow wine experts, learn about different wines from around the world, build your own 'cellar' and centralize all your wine notes to one, easy-to-access location.

Dear friends of the Vineyards,
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family this year and hope you did as well! For extra excitement at my house, we prepared dinner in my newly remodeled kitchen! The biggest challenge was finding where I had stored everything, but the turkey, fixings and of course wine were all fabulous.
Thanks to all who made it out for the Elkton Art & Wine Thanksgiving Weekend festivities! The community re-instituted the passport and raffle program and it seemed to be a huge success. We had lots of visitors, several wine club members, a few different Yurt guests - needless to say it was a wonderful and busy weekend to close out 2015. The Tasting Room is now closed for the winter, but as always, just let me know if you are coming to town. I'd be happy to open up for you. Tyler even put a handy dandy appointment form on our website, so feel free to check that out too.
From my family to yours, have a wonderful holiday season! I look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Warm regards,
Bonnie Bradley

Newsletter - November, 2015
Dear friends of the Vineyards,
October was mostly warm and dry, so coming into November we're excited about some wetter weather. It hasn't been much yet, but the Umpqua is beginning to rise so it's looking a lot more like fall around here. The drizzle has started to knock the yellow leaves off the vines too so before long they will be bare and settled in for the winter.
November is gearing up to be an exciting month. I'm most looking forward to our first ever Wine Club pick-up party! It is set for Saturday, November 28 and I'll be serving food pairings and glasses of wine to our members. Plus, as a thank you to our first members, we're offering a very special library wine. So if you have been thinking about signing up and just haven't done it yet, I recommend doing so today!
Also, I wanted to remind you that the weekend of November 27-29 Elkton will be having our annual Art & Wine Thanksgiving Weekend. Seven artists studios and shops will be open; all five Elkton wineries will be pouring; ECEC - home to the butterfly pavilion and Fort Umpqua - will be open. It is the perfect excuse to get away, do a little holiday shopping in this peaceful and scenic nook of rural Oregon and support local artists and artisans alike. Check out the handy-dandy map in the right column to help you plan your trip and navigate your weekend. I do hope you join us!
Following the Thanksgiving weekend, I'll be closing up the tasting room for the winter months, but if you are coming to town and would like to taste, I would be happy to catch up and pour for you. Just give us a call or email to set up a private tasting!
Wishing you a warm and happy November and I hope to see you soon.
Warm regards,
Bonnie Bradley

Dear friends of the Vineyards,
I am happy to report that after a very hot summer, harvest is just a couple weeks away and the grapes are looking beautiful!
We have definitely entered the busy season, as bottling of the 2014 reds is next week as well! This year, we will debut our Legacy Reserve - a beautiful wine that serves as tribute to my late husband, John. We will likely be laying these down for awhile to allow some aging, but look forward to enjoying it in his memory.
This summer was the first time we've rented our Yurt to guests on Airbnb and it has been a tremendous hit! Between July and August, there was only a total of about 10 days the Yurt wasn't occupied. Whether domestic or international all our guests have been extremely complimentary and we're so happy to welcome wonderful people into our world. If ever you need a place to stay, check it out on Airbnb!
Finally, I am very excited to announce the launch of our Wine Club! We are starting off with a 3-bottle and 6-bottle membership level, with generous discounts for both. Last week we made a Facebook announcement and had a pretty phenomenal response! As you know though, we are a small production winery, so we will likely be capping membership and offering a waiting list. It costs nothing to join, so better move fast!
I hope you had a wonderful summer, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Warm regards,
Bonnie Bradley

Our 2012 Reserve Pinot Noir
Our Reserve is made from 100% estate grown Pinot Noir. In 2012, a tremendous growing season, we blended equal parts of our two clones, Wadenswil and Pommard, to create this beautifully dark, velvety wine. We've been excited about this particular bottle for awhile now, and it's so nice to receive recognition for a wine we too found special.
